I stayed two nights on a professional trip and loved everything about the Grand
Hyatt Seattle. The entire staff was professional and helpful in every way. The
rooms are top quality -- elegant tile foyer, marble tile in the huge bathroom,
up-to-date furniture. Spotlessly clean. My room had a glass-walled shower and a
separate tub.
All the usual amenities in the room and then some: in-room safe, coffee maker,
iron, thick guest bathrobes. Internet access was an extra charge, but that seems
to be the norm at the better hotels nowadays.
My AAA package came with a breakfast served as room service, including an
entree. Outstanding menu choices and quality.
The location is great, too: right on Pine Street, a block down from the
light-rail stop, Nordstroms, Westlake Pavillion, etc.

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Seattle for the weekend of March 30th
till April 1st, 2012. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, it was
a GREAT experience. The service was impeccable. From the minute we checked in we
were treated very well. We were in a corner suite room, with the view of the
water and downtown. We had an open sitting area, huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi
and stand alone shower. Two flat screen TV’s, king sized bed, curtains that
black out any light.....need I go on?! We had room service for breakfast on both
days; we received a special when booking, so it was included. On the first
morning, our breakfast was a bit delayed (didn't bother us though as we were
getting ready for the day); however when we got back to our room at the end of
the day, the manager had sent over a bottle of wine and fresh fruit as an
apology for the delay in the morning! Such a thoughtful display of how much they
value their guests. The rooms were very clean, modern touches of furniture and
accents through out the hotel and rooms. The location is amazing, we were
central to shopping, the Pikes Market....everything was in walking distance.
This city is just amazing, clean, and safe (some areas to avoid of course, but
that is in any city)...a cab ride at night takes less than 5 minutes to get
anywhere....if you have plans on coming to Seattle, I would highly recommend
Grand Hyatt Seattle! Safe and happy travels!

Grand Hyatt Seattle is a Very nice hotel, great customer service. I got this
hotel for $100 on Priceline. My only complaint was that this hotel has only %5
of its rooms with two beds. We were a party of 4. When bidding on Priceline,
they don't ask how many will occupy the room. They were very accommodating in
that they gave us a bigger room to fit a rollaway bed. We also had to pay $34 a
day to valet park.

This Grand Hyatt Seattle is in the heart of downtown Seattle, very close to
Pike's Market, a very nice indoor mall, restaurants, and a Light Link Rail stop.
Beautiful floor-to-ceiling wood walls, updated rooms, and gourmet food. And the
Fitness Center was a home run!
It's a really fantastic hotel.

I have top status with Hyatt and consistently I am upgraded to a large room or
often a suite. If you have access to the club room try for the 27th floor where
it is located because you can step down the hall for water or food to take back
to your room.
It is centrally located, staff with a good attitude and their club room offers
excellent food for its Gold Passport members. I always enjoy the club room and
the hotel rooms. The bathrooms are huge and nicely done.
My only problem is that their only restaurant in the hotel is a Ruth Chris and
their menu is old and stale to me. There is a Cheesecake Factory behind the hotel
which is very good but always busy. Even at 9pm and in the middle of the week.

I attended a conference for 4 days. The room was ideal for what I needed. The
upgrade to a suite allowed for business to take place in my room without a bed
in the middle. The bathroom was fantastic as noted by others. I enjoyed the
fitness area, although a little confined relative to the size of the hotel and
the fitness-minded Seattle population. The cab ride isn't bad and is under $50.
I had colleagues that did the train for much less money and minimal trouble.
Walking distance to great restaurants and the riverfront made the location very
convenient. |
