Amazing design, great location, super staff! Love the newly renovated rooms, the
art is bright and original and adds a nice punch to the rooms. The shower is
fabulous and even the towels and linens are first class. Also the lobby design
is super successful in creating multiple spaces for guests to read, work, and
watch the news...based on hotel rates in the area I think the Hotel 5 Seattle is
a great value. It is close to the best of Seattle and a great place to come back
to after a long day of exploring.

Do not stay here. They are under construction. They did not tell us upon
checking in, so... imagine my surprise at 8am when the started jack hammering on
the floor below me. The remodel looks nice, and I'm sure it will be a wonderful
place to stay AFTER they are finished.

This is a funky hotel in a great location. Walking distance to the Seattle
Center and Space Needle and Pike Street Market. It was being renovated when we
were there and the 2nd floor wasn't completed yet. The room at the Hotel 5
Seattle was nice. It had hardwood floors, coffee pot, funky bathroom. I would
rate this place a 4, but we could not get very hot water. We had breakfast at
the restaurant and it was nice.

Spend 190 dollar for one night. The Hotel 5 Seattle is currently being
renovated, but this is done with Ikea furniture. And the old heater was still
present, and it had seen better days....
Although it is all recently done, paint was chipping, and one of the carpets was
stained. The room was also noisy, this mainly from other rooms. On the plus
side, it is located within a walking distance of the space needle, and pikes
market. So it isn't all bad :). If the prices were a lower this could be decent
option.

The front desk staff at the Hotel 5 Seattle go out of their way for you.
Anything and everything we needed they were more than happy to find for us
whether it was a restaurant, a corkscrew, wine glasses or a specific item at the
grocery store. The skytrain goes by the hotel and although you can hear it, it
never woke us at night. The door to the bathroom is on a slide and often it
would jam and then took great force to open. Lighting above bathroom mirror is
also very poor. I liked the laminate floors as no dusty carpets. I found the
room average size but very clean. A bar fridge would be nice. Great coffee in
room and lobby. Location is good with restaurants and grocers near by and only a
15 minute walk to Pike's Market. The customer service at the Hotel 5 Seattle
made up for any shortfalls.

This is a great hotel with everything you need for a great price. Rooms are
really spacious and very clean. The hotel is also very 'funky' the decor and
furniture is very retro.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is also great, everything is
within walking distance.
I would recommend this to anyone visiting Seattle. We stayed for 3 nights but
only paid for 2 as part of a promotion they were offering which was also great
and made this even better value for money.

Stayed 3 nights this September. Pretty convenient location. Right by Top Pot
Donuts and a bunch of other restaurants. Done up pretty differently compared to
your run of the mill hotels. It was a nice stay overall. Rooms were nice and the
bathrooms were pretty cool. Toilet area is kinda dark though. One nice surprise
was the fact that you couldnt hear the monorail. Probably more a function of the
monorail than the hotel, but nice nonetheless. Best surprise was how good
breakfast was at the restaurant. Keep in mind that its in transition, so the
lower levels may not match the new parts.

We visited Seattle for a long weekend and the first night we were there our car
was broken into in their parking garage. While this could have been a very
negative situation the extremely helpful staff and hotel manager went above and
beyond. Setting up the appointment to get our car window replaced as a storm was
coming in. He also called the police for us and got two very helpful employees
who completely cleaned the glass in our car. The whole staff and manager were
very apologetic and went out of their way to make amends. I would suggest if
you stay at this hotel to be careful of blind areas in their garage where the
security camera's don't reach.
On the positive side the room was wonderful with all the amenities. It is at a
good walking location to Seattle center, downtown, pike street market and the
water front. The rates are very reasonable in comparison to all the other hotels
in that area.I also loved that they had a Keurig coffee maker in the rooms with
coffee. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Seattle. We want to
thank the staff for going above and beyond. It was appreciated.
