Beautiful! La Quinta Inn Seattle Downtown undergoing renovation and it is going
to be incredibly beautiful. Staff is very efficient and nice. Room was wonderful
- very comfortable and modern. The location was perfect! We were visiting
Cornish College of the Arts and it was a very short walk to the campus. We will
be back again and again!

My mom, grandma & aunts stayed at the La Quinta Inn Seattle Downtown due to the
decent reviews & very economical price. Upon arriving to check them in, we were
surprised to see they were under construction. However the Front Office clerk
confirmed that all the room renovations would be complete & you couldn't hear
construction noise from the rooms. Once inside the rooms we were happily
surprised to see he was right about the renovations & noise. The rooms were
spacious, very clean & had nice amenities. A nice perk was the free popcorn in
the room! There was a microwave as well, which was a very nice amenity. They
also served complimentary continental breakfast every morning. It was about a
15/20 minute walk to the shopping/restaurant district downtown & you can even
clearly see the Space Needle from some of the rooms.
They happened to stay over St. Patty's day weekend & the front desk clerk gave
my grandmother his beads, which I thought was very nice of him to treat her
special!
Hotel Review of the La Quinta Inn Seattle Downtown

My wife and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn Seattle Downtown in mid-February and
found it very quiet, very clean and the staff extremley helpful. The lobby area
was undergoing renovation and first impressions were that it was "rough" but our
modestly priced room was more like a large suite and we've certainly paid far
more for far less elsewhere. The king sized bed was comfortable and above all
the room was spotless and from all appearances, the room had been recently
renovated.
Access to public transportation is a bit wanting but that will change as the
Seattle LRT system is to be extended north. There are some reasonably priced
restaurants within walking distance and for the tourists, the Seattle Space
Needle is also within walking distance. We'd have no hesitation about
recommending the Downtown La Quinta to anyone and in terms of value for money,
it exceeds anything place I've ever previously stayed in the downtown Seattle
core..
Hotel Review of the La Quinta Inn Seattle Downtown
16 March 2012
In seeking a hotel to fit my budget, I chose the La Quinta Inn Seattle Downtown
based on previous reviews as well as its location in downtown Seattle. I just
returned home in mid-March from a three-night stay at this hotel, and would like
to confirm the praises from previous reviewers.
Everyone at the front desk was professional and helpful; you can tell they have
a great team attitude, towards both the guests as well as one another. The staff
is youthful and enthusiastic and you just feel good from the moment you walk in.
I reserved a room with a king bed, microwave and refrigerator. I asked for a
quiet room with a view and was delighted to be on the top floor with a great
view of downtown Seattle. My room was spotless. The décor was comfortable, the
room was spacious and the bathroom was recently remodelled, with nice tile and
fixtures throughout. Towels are fluffy, linens are plush, and windows had
blackout drapes plus nice sheers layered over them. It was a plus to have the
refrigerator and microwave, because Whole Foods is just around the corner and I
made a couple of grocery runs for late evening and early morning snacks.
It appears the entire hotel is being upgraded, including the lobby, which they
are in the process of remodelling and should be completed soon. This did not
interfere with my comings and goings. In addition, if needed, there is a
computer with a printer in the lobby to print your flight reservation or check
emails.
The location was perfect. I like to walk, and I was able to walk to the Space
Needle, all throughout downtown and Pike Place Market several times during my
stay. If you don’t care to walk, you can catch the bus routes, which are very
close to the hotel; just ask the staff where you would like to go.
My compliments to all the staff at this location; they go above and beyond for
you. You won’t find a better hotel for the location, price, cleanliness, comfort
and friendly staff. |
