Hotel Review of the Roosevelt Coast Hotel Seattle Washington

3 April 2012
I stayed at the Roosevelt Coast Hotel Seattle this past weekend and it was a great experience. First off, I had the cutest little room - very cozy - with a great view of the city. The staff was great and went above-and-beyond the call of duty to make it a great experience for me (despite the fact that it was a very busy convention weekend). My only complaints are that the fitness room is very small as well as the business centre - but everything else is great. I look forward to staying there again.

We'd definitely stay at the Roosevelt Coast Hotel Seattle again. The location can't be beat--right in the heart of the city so you can walk or catch public transit anywhere you'd like to go. The rooms are clean and nice, beds very comfy (though only double or king-sized beds are available, no queens), and my daughter took full advantage of the nice 24-hour fitness center. We loved the fact that the windows opened so we could get fresh air! Our 16th floor room was quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also loved having Von's RoastHouse restaurant and bar available on site. You can pop in for a good $3.50 house martini after a long day of sight-seeing, and the 5-6 pm happy hour is an incredible bargain. You can order off a limited food menu for half the usual price--dishes like salmon and chips for $3.25!--so a nice dinner for two with a couple of drinks can be had for under $30 between 5 and 6 p.m., allowing you to save your money for a more extravagant lunch at Elliott's Oyster House or the Blue Acre or any of the other terrific restaurants nearby. I'd highly recommend the Roosevelt Coast Hotel Seattle.

Not totally impressed. First time to the Roosevelt Coast Hotel Seattle, and the last time. My queen room was tiny to begin with, add the really poor water pressure with the shower nozzle being in a great place for small people, outdated room furnishings and lobby that looks tired. Customer service is a question mark, as I overheard a problem with one guest at check-in and to see him return to front desk complaining about he was given a dirty room and the front desk girl acting like she did not care. I should not be surprised as I when I checked in the bellman just glared at me, like he was security or something-I thought "what, never seen anyone in a suit before?" by the way, checked into the other Coast - the Paramount..what a difference-that is a hotel. This one can learn a lot from them. One thing this hotel has is Von- the restaurant. Great food, service, and nice portions. This is the only reason why this hotel gets a "3" from me. Without the food service, its a "2". Too bad nice location, but wasted on service and decor.

My wife and I stayed Roosevelt Coast Hotel Seattle recently for our first time. Check-in was easy, and its location is the best. Right in the middle of downtown Seattle's business, shopping and dining area. You can walk to most attractions from here. Great little bar attached to the premises also. We got a very nice corner room on the 8th floor. It appeared to be one of the larger rooms, according to the floor diagram. The bed itself was very comfortable. If your a light sleeper, request a higher floor due to the early morning street activity. I had ear plugs, and my wife sleeps soundly, so it wasn't much of an issue for us.

This is a great hotel located in the most perfect area of Seattle. Staff is excellent, room was great and once again the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Spent Dec 24 to 27 in a Jacuzzi King corner room. Very spacious room, fantastic two person Jacuzzi soaker tub. Free no hassle in room wifi, welcoming staff, no issues whatsoever. Booked thru here and all purchase details were honoured at check-in. Cannot beat the location, right smack in the middle of downtown shopping, movies theatres in same block as hotel, Starbucks across the street and six very short blocks to Pike Place Market. Have stayed at a variety of Seattle hotels in the past but will look no further than the Roosevelt next time.
